Common Reasons for Decline

Unfortunately, we are unable to approve every loan. Some of the more common reasons a borrower may be decline are, but not limited to:

  • Their credit score does not meet our minimum required score
  • Excessive number of recent inquiries appear on credit report
  • Bankruptcy discharged less than 2 years ago.
  • Garnishment or attachment in credit history

An Adverse Action Letter will be delivered to each applicant within 30 days of the application. This will outline the specific reasons for the decline. It will be sent to the address used on the loan application.
